History

The Village Hall was built in 1833, as a result of local effort. It served the village as a school until 1926, when the new school building was opened, after which it became the Church Hall. It was purchased as the Village Hall in 1970.
The front wall features a drinking fountain that was installed to mark Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubille in 1897.
